We are offering small sided teams ages 3 year olds/4 year olds through 8th grade the chance to play indoor youth Futsal.
Futsal is a popular version of indoor soccer that allows players to focus on their technique with more quality touches, improve their speed, improve their decision making skills, and improve their team skills in small-sided games. Generally, games are 5 v. 5 (including a goalie) depending on gym size. A heavier soccer ball is used due to playing on the slick indoor gym floor. Games move at a faster speed, but are shorter in length. It is also considered safer than standard indoor soccer as it eliminates wall collisions.
Games will begin in January. There will be 1 practice week to learn the rules, then 6 game weeks will follow. There are no additional practices after the first week as players will be developing their skill through the small sided scrimmage games. The initial practice and games will be held on Sunday mornings/early afternoons during January and February.
Teams are co-ed for all ages. There may be times when we need to adjust grade levels or combine grade levels to fill the teams.

3 year olds/4 year olds
Kindergarten/1st Grade
2nd/3rd Grade
4th/5th Grade
6th-8th Grade
Coaches are always needed at every level and their player registration is waived. A current background check through Anne Arundel Parks and Rec will be required and is easily done through the Anne Arundel Parks and Rec website for a nominal $7 non-reimbursed fee, and it is good for 3 years. Players will need indoor soccer shoes or sneakers, shin guards, and soccer socks. Jerseys will be provided through the program.
Registration (includes team jersey): $95 for all age groups.
There is limited space, so please register early. Registration will close December 15, 2025.
