Winter 24/25 Season

**All Special Requests must be submitted on the website at registration. Special Requests include asking for a specific coach, playing with a specific kid or kids, specific practice nights, etc. Unfortunately, requests made after registration will not be granted.**

Registration closes November 1st, 2024. Practices begin the week of November 11th. Games begin the week of December 2nd and run through February !st.

Co-Ed Clinic Basketball

Clinic Basketball is a FUN introduction to the game of basketball for ages 4-7. Children will be taught the fundamentals of basketball with a focus on respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 

Players will also be taught the rules of the game. Enforcement of the rules will correlate with the age of the child. The older they are, the more rules will be enforced.

The main goal of Clinic Basketball is to spark the kids’ interest in basketball and encourage them to want to come back next season.

Coaches are needed for every age group, both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches. Your child’s registration fee will be waived if you choose to Head Coach. Please register through SCYAsports.org to coach and register for a background check through Anne Arundel Rec and Parks Background. This background check is good for 3 years and qualifies you to coach any sport in Anne Arundel County.

Pre-K - $78

Children with birthdates from October 1st, 2019 – September 30th, 2020. Practice will be held one day a week before the first game of the season. During the season there will be one game a week. Rim height will be 6’ with 27.5” basketball.

Kindergarten - $88

Practice will be held one day a week before the first game of the season. During the season, there will be one practice during the week and one game a week. Rim height will be 7’ with 27.5” basketball.

1st Grade - $88

Practice will be held two days a week before the first game of the season. During the season, there will be one practice during the week and one game a week. Rim height will be 8’ with a 28.5” basketball.

2nd Grade - $98

Practice will be held two days a week before the first game of the season. During the season, there will be one practice during the week and two games a week. Rim height will be 9’ with a 28.5” basketball.

*All players receive a team jersey as part of their registration.

**We may need to ask younger kids to move up an age group to facilitate having full teams. You will be asked at registration if you are open to this for your child.
