VOLLEYBALL FALL 2025
Cost: $110
SCYA offers the following age groups for all genders (*see AA County 2024 Youth Volleyball Rules for Co-Ed rules).
- 10U; for those who are 10 yrs. old or younger on or before Sept 1 (typically 4th & 5th grade)
- 12U; for those who are 12 yrs. old or younger on or before Sept 1 (typically 6th & 7th grade)
- 14U; for those who are 14 yrs. old or younger on or before Sept 1 (typically 8th & 9th grade)
- 17U; for those who are 17 yrs. old or younger on or before Sept 1 (typically 10th & 11th grade)
Uniform
SCYA will provide a jersey that will be returned at the end of the season. Jerseys not returned will be charged to the player account. Players should provide their own black shorts or spandex, tennis shoes and kneepads. Kneepads are not required but encouraged.
Season Notes:
- Practices begin the first week of school
- Game schedules will be released shortly after the start of the season
- Games are typically on Sundays
- Season will consist of 7 games
- The Commissioner will consider specific team placement requests; however, it cannot be guaranteed. Please annotate during registration if you have any such requests.
- Registration fees are waived for any parent who volunteers as (head) coach.
- All practices are held at Tracey's Elementary, Lothian Elementary, or Deale Elementary. Games are held at various schools throughout the county.
