Spring 2026 Clinic Soccer

Registration Closes March 1st

Age Group: 3 years - 1st Grade

Registration Dates: January 1st, 2026 - March 1st, 2026

Registration will not be re-opened after March 8th.

Program: SCYA's Clinic Soccer program focuses on FUN first while developing

foundational skills in soccer. This is the first exposure to soccer, and in some cases team

sports, for many of these kids, so while there is an aspect of friendly competition, the

focus is on building fundamental skills like:

Team work

Exposure to a coach + team setting

Basic athletic skills like running, kicking, and coordination

Season Timeline: Practices start the week of March 9th, 2025 with games running from

March 21st through May 9th, 2025 (with no games during the scheduled AACPS

spring break). May 16th is reserved as a game make-up day.

Location: All games and practices are held on the fields behind Deale Elementary

school.

Age Groups:

3s Program: Must be 3 years old by March 1, 2026; Time commitment is 1 hour/week on

Saturday mornings. The hour includes a 30 minute foundational practice and a 30

minute scrimmage. Cost is $75.4s Program: Must be 4 years old by March 1, 2026; Time commitment is 1 hour/week on

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Program (combined age groups for team size): Must be in

Kindergarten, 1st grade, or equivalent (older children should register for the SCYA boys

or girls leagues in the appropriate age group); One 45 minute week night practice and

Saturday game each week. Practice dates are determined by coaches once season

schedules are released. Cost is $80.

Team jerseys are included in the registration fee and will be provided for all age

groups prior to the first game.

Players will need to wear the following to every practice and game:

Soccer Cleats

Shin guards

-

Soccer socks

Coaches: Volunteer coaches are always needed for every age group! No coaching

experience necessary. Duties include managing the game and practice schedules and

team communication. It’s a low commitment way to be engaged with your child!

Registration fees for your child are waived if you volunteer to coach. You can register

to coach through the same registration link for players below!
